Team Poco has confirmed some important details related to Poco F1 bugs/issues and new features. The battery drain and touch issues have been fixed internally and will be available in next update. In addition, features like 960FPS slo-mo and Night mode are coming as well.

Recent LineageOS 16 updates soft-bricking Poco F1 units. The LineageOS team, however, has acknowledged the black screen bug after hitting the unlock button on Xiaomi Poco F1, Mi 8 and Mi MIX 2S, adding that a fix is coming.

According to a Mi Community moderator, the Xiaomi Poco F1 might be next in line to receive the stable MIUI 12 update in India. Recently, the Redmi Note 8 Pro picked up the beta stable MIUI 12 update. Thus, the Poco F1 could be the next device to get it. See the full story here.

A new announcement made on the official Poco India telegram group suggests that the Poco F1 in India may get the MIUI 12 update next week itself. The same announcement message also states that the Poco X2 is likely to get MIUI 12 in August as well. Check out the full story here.

According to the moderator of the official Global Pocophone group on Telegram, the MIUI 12 update that is currently available for Mi Pilot testers cannot be installed by non-Pilot testers on the Poco F1. Therefore, do not try to install it manually on your device. Check out the full story here.

We’ve rounded up all the details surrounding the MIUI 12 update for the Pocophone F1/Poco F1. The update is still not available to all users thus leaving many users frustrated and demanding a response from Poco. For more details, head here.

Pocophone F1/Poco F1 is still in the queue to receive MIUI 12 stable update, however, there is no news about the timeline of the update. In the meantime, there is something for the users to cherish for. An Mi community moderator has recently confirmed that the call recording and Face Unlock features will remain intact on the Poco F1 MIUI 12 stable update.
This confirmation came after it was reported that the Pocophone F1 being an older device might not get the VLOG mode with the MIUI 12 update. For further details, click here.
It has been reportedly confirmed by an admin of the official Mi Pilot testers group on Telegram that the next MIUI 12 update for Pocophone F1/Poco F1 will be a stable update. However, Poco has not made an official statement backing this information. Check for more details here.
Update (September 01, 2020)
IST: 12:55 pm: The MIUI 12 beta update is going through the testing phase for the Pocophone F1/Poco F1 and there still seems to be bugs or issues that may further delay the wider rollout. A beta tester has recently reported that the Pocophone F1 began overheating while recording a short 4K 30fps video.
The same issue has been reported by multiple beta testers. As of this writing, Poco has not made any official statement in this regard. See the full details here.

IST: 07:42 pm: When asked about MIUI 12 rollout status for Poco F1, a Mi Community Forum feedback team member said that the Poco F1 Global Beta Stable is rolling out to random users for testing. IST: 11:20 am: A user recently took to Twitter asking when the Poco F1 will be updated to MIUI 12. In response to the user’s query, a Poco Executive has said that the update will be releasing very soon. See the details here.

IST: 11:41 am: It appears that the Poco Launcher version 3.0 based on MIUI 12 is currently under development. Furthermore, a moderator has confirmed that the update to v3.0 will be released via the Google Play Store once it’s ready. For more details, head here.

IST 02:40 pm: In response to user concerns regarding a couple of bugs on the stable build of MIUI 11 on the Poco F1, a moderator stated that the issues are being looked into and will be fixed. Since the device won’t be getting another MIUI 11-based update, the fixes may arrive alongside MIUI 12. For all the details, head here.

IST 05:31 pm: It appears that Poco has begun rolling out the stable MIUI 12 update for the Pocophone F1 to a limited number of users. The update is available for MIUI 12 beta testers as version 12.0.1.0.QEJMIXM. For more details, head here.

IST 02:43 pm: Poco has released a new update for the Poco Launcher. It comes as version v2.7.4.10 and brings some bug fixes and performance optimizations. No new features have been added with this update. For more details, head here.

IST 01:55 pm: Poco F1 users have been reporting bugs/issues after installing MIUI 12, and it’s now coming to light that the problems will be addressed (hopefully soon). Also, the banned Chinese apps have been taken away from MIUI 12 for the Poco F1 users too. Here‘s the complete story.

IST 07:21 pm: It seems that Xiaomi has finally released the MIUI 12 update for the Russian variants of the Pocphone F1. The new skin is available as version V12.0.2.0.QEJRUXM. For more details and the download link, head here.

IST 05:12 pm: While Xiaomi does not roll out 3 major OS updates for its devices, there are slight chances that it may also join the 3 major OS updates club by releasing Android 11 for the Poco F1/Pocophone F1. Check out all the details here.

IST 10:17 am: It’s been a few weeks since Xiaomi rolled out the stable MIUI 12 update for the Poco F1 but is yet to begin a wider rollout. This has led many Poco F1 users to become frustrated with the company. More details here.
IST 01:42 pm: Poco is yet to release the promised Poco Launcher 3.0 update which is set to bring a few new changes and improvements over the existing version. Thus, Poco F1 users will have to wait a bit more to get their hands on the new launcher. More details here.
