Pocophone F1, also known as Poco F1 in India, is still one of the most liked Android devices but the wait for the MIUI 12 update is still on.

While the MIUI 12 stable update arrived for the global Poco F1 variant back in September, not everyone got their hands on it as the latest custom skin was released partially.

Also, the Indian variant of Pocophone F1 also started receiving MIUI 12 without the apps banned by the Government of India but this too was a limited release due to bugs and instability.

Now, it seems that users of the Poco F1 are getting restless as it has been almost a month since the stable rollout began and ended abruptly.

Users are taking to online platforms like Twitter demanding an explanation for the delay in a wider MIUI 12 stable update rollout.

The OEM has been quiet on the matter and there is virtually no information on the status of the Poco F1 MIUI 12 update since the Russian variant bagged it.

Hence, it is unclear whether the rollout is stopped due to stability issues in the global MIUI 12 stable builds or just the usual delay from OTA updates.

It must also be noted that the development of MIUI 12 beta update is temporarily suspended in China due to the National Day 2020 holidays.

While the suspension will definitely affect the overall software update schedule for global Xiaomi devices, it might not be the specific reason behind the Poco F1 MIUI 12 update delay.

This is simply due to the fact that only a handful of Pocophone F1 units received the MIUI 12 update even before the suspension announcement came to light.

Nevertheless, it is only natural of Pocophone F1 users to be anxious about the MIUI 12 update especially when most Xiaomi devices have already bagged it.

That said, we hope the OEM addresses users’ concerns soon and provides the much awaited update to the Poco F1 on a wider scale.
