Chinese OEM Xiaomi, as you may know, is working on refining the company’s latest custom skin MIUI 11 which is based on last year’s Android 9.0 Pie. The current MIUI 10 is based on Android 8.0 Oreo, and the company aims to offer a level up experience to users with the next UI.

MIUI11

MIUI 11 is expected to revamp the look and feel by upgrading the system and app icons. It may give users the ability to play with icon shapes as well. An interesting feature that could be added is the ultra power saving mode to enhance battery performance by turning off certain apps and features.

The status bar is also expected to be optimized with better spacing, and users may also get an option to darken the status bar in order to hide the notch. Automatic deletion of screenshots once shared will also be an added benefit. And not to miss, the trending system-wide dark theme.

However, among Xiaomi’s list of devices that’ll be upgraded to MIUI 11, surprisingly there was no mention of Pocophone F1 at least until now. Poco F1 is Xiaomi’s last year’s phone that is powered by Snapdragon 845 and shipped with Android Oreo. It was upgraded to Pie by the end of launch year.

As per the rumors/speculations that surfaced, not much has come to light about MIUI 11 on Poco F1. Though, being last year’s budget friendly high-end phone it should be upgraded to MIUI 11.

While until now there wasn’t any confirmation, now Xiaomi’s global Head of Pocophone, Alvin Tse has spoken on the matter. While reverting back to an inquirer on Twitter, they shared that Pocophone F1 (or Poco F1) will indeed get MIUI 11. Here’s what they said:
