This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..

Original story (published on June 22) follows:

Xiaomi is getting ready to begin the second phase of rolling out the stable MIUI 12 stable update to the non-China ROM variants sold across the globe. The first devices to get the new skin outside China did so about a month ago, among them the Mi 9, Mi 9T, and Mi 9T Pro.

The rollout, however, is still limited to select participants of what Xiaomi calls the Mi Pilot program. This is essentially a rebranded Global MIUI Beta program, only that it’s more limited this time around.

Following a positive response from the first global MIUI 12 beta update release, Xiaomi elected to expand the number of devices in the Mi Pilot program. The Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7, and Pocophone F1 were invited to join the party.

Shortly after, the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Note 7S were also added to the MIUI 12 Mi Pilot program. Although the initial wave skipped the Indian market, it didn’t take long before this lot was also invited aboard.

Today, there is a new wave of recruitment into the Mi Pilot program for owners of the Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 8 Pro and Pocophone F1 using the Global (MI), European (EU), Russian (RU) and Indonesian (ID) variants. If interested, fill out your details in this form.

For those using the Indian variants of the Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7S, and POCO F1, there is also room for you to grab a seat in the second phase of the MIUI 12 beta update in the country via this link.

Once again, note that this exercise is limited to available slots, so be sure to make your move swiftly if you want to be considered for phase 2 of MIUI 12 beta testing in India and the rest of the markets using non-China MIUI ROMs.
