If the Geekbench listings are accurate, then two more Xiaomi phones are in the pipeline to get updated to Android 10. Notably, the Snapdragon 660 powered Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and Redmi Note 7 was spotted running Android 10 on Geekbench.

Talking about the Redmi Note 7, the handset was recently updated with the February 2020 security patchset. In fact, it’s kin, Redmi Note 7 Pro was also quick to grab the February 2020 patch.

As far as Android 10 updates are concerned, the Redmi Note 7 units in China have already bagged the beta update back in January.

And by the looks of it, it seems that the stable update is not too far away, as the device has popped up in a Geekbench listing running on Android 10.

There is not much that can be depicted from the above image, apart from the fact that the handset with the same internal as the Redmi Note 7 has scored a single-core score of 343 and a multi-core score of 1526 and is running Android 10, hinting some good news for the users of the Redmi Note 7.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite was also spotted on the Geekbench running Android 10. PiunikaWeb readers should remember that the phone has recently received the stable Android 10 update in China, while the global users are still waiting for it.

Although the Android 10 updates for both the units are on the cards, we would advise taking such Geekbench listing with a grain of salt.

Because such listings can easily be doctored by running Android 10 based custom ROM. Even advanced users can also modify the values to fool Geekbench.

So, to be honest, the users of the Redmi Note 7 and Mi 8 lite should wait for any official statement or comment by the company itself, regarding Android 10 updates for both the devices.

We will keep our eye on a lookout for any developments in this matter.
