Original story follows:

Another day, another new development in PewDiePie vs T-Series YouTube subscriber battle. The official website of the Indian music label (both desktop and mobile versions) is currently down.

Who did this? Well, we aren’t sure, but a Twitter user j3ws3r posted about it a couple of days back, saying there’s a vulnerability in the website, and after their efforts to get in touch with T-Series failed, this happened.

Chatter on the Twitter thread in question suggests it’s a slow HTTP DoS attack, which unlike DDoS (distributed denial of service) attacks doesn’t require much resources – these type of attacks can be launched just from a single machine as well.

Going by the language in tweet and other tweets by j3ws3r, it doesn’t appear they are directly/indirectly involved in taking down the website. But it’s possible that they may have information on the attackers identity.

In fact, rumors suggest the hacker who hacked printers worldwide a couple of weeks back could be behind the attack
