Update (December 10):

Oh no. Rewind 2018 – which doesn’t feature YouTube’s most subscribed channel PewDiePie – is on way to become most disliked YouTube video ever. Details here.

Original story follows:

A few days ago, YouTuber Logan Paul outed a video announcing his support to PewDiePie. Logan put a link below the video which when clicked would automatically subscribe you to the channel. He also said for every subscription done this way, he would donate some amount of money to a charity of his choice.

Now, Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg has responded to Logan’s help. In one of his latest videos, PewDiePie said compared to when YouTuber Markiplier came to his rescue, the sub gap wasn’t “nearly as impactful” when Logan announced his support.

However, PewDiePie still agreed to wear the hoodie which Logan sent to him as a precondition for his support to the No.1 subscribed channel on YouTube.

Moving on, PewDiePie also criticized fellow YouTuber Lilly Singh for giving Forbes’ ‘Highest-Paid YouTube Stars 2018’ list a biased, gender-based pay angle. He called Lilly a crybaby and an idiot, while noting that Adsense (Google’s ad program through which YouTubers mainly earn) doesn’t pay based on whether you are a male or a female.

For what it’s worth, Lilly has since clarified her stance on Twitter.

The video also features PewDiePie saying he’s overwhelmed with the ‘subscribe to pewdiepie’ campaign, and is also humbled and thankful to his supporters for making the channel surpass the 75 million subscriber mark. He also revealed his personal favorite support effort is the petition to British Prime Minister.

In the video, PewDiePie also mentioned Pornhub for their support announcement. Then towards the end, he shared some other, smaller YouTube channels he likes.

Here’s the video:
