One of the reasons why Chinese smartphone manufacturers have exceeded their sales expectations across the globe especially in India is because of the strong user community.
Realme has had a tremendous last year thanks to its Realme 5 series and the Realme X2 Pro that brought in great sales for the Chinese brand.
In line with this, for keeping the users updated about the latest happenings, every month Realme’s CEO Madhav Seth takes selected questions from users and comes up with a response via a YouTube series called AskMadhav.
And in the last episode i.e. Episode 14, Madhav Seth revealed quite a few interesting information. Notably, when asked whether Realme UI (Android 10) is coming to Realme 5i or not, to which CEO responded that it is going to come in May 2020.
Note that the Realme UI official teaser and features were revealed by the company earlier this month. In fact, he went on to further reveal that Realme is working on a new update cycle plan via which it would be serving the Realme devices more efficiently.
In another question, when asked about whether the Realme X50 is coming to India or not. To this, Madhav replied that there is something bigger and better than Realme X50 going to launch at MWC 2020 for India. (Realme X50 Pro 5G maybe!)
Madhav also revealed that the Realme fitness band will be launched in India in February. Realme CEO also cleared the air regarding the real-time Bokeh-mode video mode for the Realme 3 Pro stating that as it requires certain hardware and software integrations, Realme 3 Pro will not get the realme video bokeh feature.
Notably, the real-time video bokeh mode is already available with the company’s flagship Realme X2 Pro. When asked about the delay in Android 10 update for the Realme X2 Pro (slated for March 2020), Seth stated that the company has to keep in consideration other users as well.
And as the beta testing is already on for other devices along with the Realme X2 Pro, the update will soon be hitting the units.
An official timeline of the VoWiFi rollout plan has also been presented. Unsurprisingly, we have already confirmed the timeline before, so there’s nothing new in it.
