Ever since the launch of the WiFi calling services by two of the major network providers, i.e. Jio and Airtel in India, users are quite excited to test out this new feature on their devices.

Reliance Jio and Airtel have recently launched the VoWiFi service in several Indian cities

Though this service is compatible with many smartphone brands, some of the major OEMs are missing out. Besides, users of Nokia and OnePlus are reportedly not able to enjoy the VoWiFi services on their devices, even on Android 10.

Cut to a recent development, Realme users have also come up with the same issue on their Realme devices (Realme X2, X2 Pro and 3 Pro to be precise).

Several users have reported that their devices do not support the WiFi calling (VoWiFi) feature on both Jio and Airtel networks. You can check out some of the reports below:

Moreover, when we checked for the compatible devices list for using the VoWiFi feature on both Jio and Airtel network’s official website, it turns out that Realme phones are not listed under either carrier’s supported devices list.

But, what might come as a relief for the Realme X2/X2 Pro and Realme 3 Pro users, is that responding to several tweets, Realme has stated that they are indeed working on bringing the VoWiFi or WiFi calling feature for the Realme smartphones very soon.

Similarly, other devices are also expected to soon receive the WiFi calling (VoWiFi) support by Realme. We will have to wait and watch for further developments in this regard.

Update 1 (January 15)
