Original story follows:
After being down for severed days, ShowBox finally started working Yesterday, laying to rest rumors and speculations that it has been shut down completely. Users said the ShowBox apk on their Android device received an update, installing which brought life back into the back.
Turns out the happiness was short lasted, as now we are seeing reports that the app/service is down again. As is usually the case, users are taking to social media platforms like Twitter to share this new development. Take a look:

Unsurprisingly, there’s no information on the reason behind this second outage. It could be because of some glitches reported by users ever since the app came back up yesterday (we saw reports saying streaming TV shows wasn’t possible), but we aren’t sure.

Sadly, as it stands currently, we are back to where we were day before yesterday. The app is not working again, and users are again miffed, looking for alternatives. We’re monitoring the situation, and will let you know as and when any further newsworthy development takes place on the matter.
Note: We feel it’s our responsibility to let you know again and again that using ShowBox is no longer safe for end users now (here’s why). And if you still decide to take the risk, and have to download a ShowBox apk from an unknown source, make sure it is free of viruses and malware (here’s how to do that).
