In mid-October 2019, Sony’s Android 10 roadmap was revealed with details of when various devices would be upgraded to the new OS. For some reason, the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus were missing from the list.
About a month later, the Japanese company did reveal its Android 10 plans for the Xperia 10 duo alongside the Xperia Z2 trio and Xperia XZ3. As of this writing, the latter devices have already received their update to the new OS, but nothing yet for the 10 and 10 Plus.
But all thanks to XDA Recognized Developer LuK1337, Xperia 10 and 10 Plus Android 10 update is here, at least via the unofficial LineageOS 17.1 update.
This isn’t coming directly from Sony, so you’ll need to unlock the bootloader of your phone first and grab a custom recovery like TWRP to install this software.

The incoming ZenFone 5 update is based on Android Pie, with the device’s Android 10 update still facing uncertainties. The previous update rolled out last December, so be sure to grab the incoming OTA even if it doesn’t bring changes to the base OS.
