Android 10 is now 6 months old, and Google has already started prepping up for the Android 11 update. Many recently launched devices are also coming with Android 10 out of the box, but there are quite a bunch of smartphones still awaiting Android 10 update.
But, as per recent developments, new updates are lined up for two Xiaomi devices. Notably, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro (aka Mi Note 10 or Mi Note 10 Pro) and the Mi 9 Pro are getting the latest Android 10 OS.
Talking about the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro, the Android 10 arrives as a stable update. Notably, the Android 10 beta version for the device arrived back in February 2020 and Xiaomi was planning to roll out the stable update to the Mi CC9 Pro sometime in mid- April.
But, it seems like the company want’s to surprise its users and has pushed the update in China. The latest OTA bears the version number V11.0.1.0.QFXCNXM and weighs around 2.6 GB in size.
It also tags along the March 2020 security patchset alongside all the Android 10 core features. Check out the screenshot of the update, below:
Another Xiaomi is bagging the Android 10 update, i.e. the Mi 9 Pro. This OTA is also live in China and arrives in the form of an internal beta stable update (as per the translation from the screenshot).
The OTA bears the version number MIUI v11.0.1.0.QFXCNXM and weighs in a hefty 2.6 GB in size. It also brings along the March 2020 security patchset along with all the Android 10 specific features for the Mi 9 Pro.
Users should note that the updates are arriving in batches via OTA and will probably take some time in hitting all the units. However, you can head over to Settings>>About Phone>>System Update>>Check for update for manually checking for it.
Happy installing!
