Forza Motorsport is one of the most famous gaming titles of this decade. The first Forza Motorsport came into existence in the year 2005 and was appreciated by all the gaming fans around the world. American company Turn 10 Studios is the developer of the game.

The last Forza Motorsport game was released in 2017 and was called the Forza Motorsport 7. The popular game featured a total of 700 cars during its release. The game received good reviews and critics ratings from big media outlets.

Now fans are desperately waiting for the release of its next title, which might be called Forza Motorsport 8. If we observe the release pattern of the Forza Motorsport series, the company has released a new game every two years. Have a look at the release pattern of the game below.

Forza Motorsport (2005)

Forza Motorsport 2 (2007)

Forza Motorsport 3 (2009)

Forza Motorsport 4 (2011)

Forza Motorsport 5 (2013)

Forza Motorsport 6 (2015)

Forza Motorsport 7 (2017)

So according to this pattern, the new title should be released in 2019. But during the Xbox E3 conference, Turn 10 Studios confirmed to IGN that the new title or next instalment of Forza Motorsport series is not releasing anytime soon.

Microsoft Studios has kept Forza fans busy with its Horizon series. Forza Horizon 4 which was released last year beautifully expanded Forza Horizon series to the United Kingdom location. In contrast to Motorsport, Forza Horizon series focuses on an open world racing environment.

Earlier this year, Microsoft Studios pushed Forza Street, which is a free-to-play game and is available for PC, Android and iOS.

Coming back to Forza Motorsport 8, there is still no news from Turn 10 Studios when the next title of Forza Motorsport series will be released. But there is a good news for racing game fans as the new Need for Speed game will be released this year. Need for Speed has not been able to score with fans since 2012, whereas Forza Horizon 4 and Forza Motorsport 7 both titles did very well.
