Understandably, Xiaomi has done everything in its power to replace the defective units and to prevent this issue from occurring to anymore Mi 9 devices.
Unfortunately, the cat’s out of the bag but who knows it might become a cool collector’s item.
Ironically, this has happened to one of their previous flagships before, the Xiaomi Mi 6. The, Mi 6 was their 2017 flagship device and allowed them to set record sales. However, many netizens said that this mobile phone is just like the wrong version of the renminbi, the national currency of China and that it is very collectible.
From the pictures exposed by netizens, the device looks no different at first glance, but when you look closely, you will find that there is no flash, only two solitary cameras.
