Android 10 is here, and every smartphone manufacturer has geared up for rolling out the latest Android OS for their devices. Samsung is known for late updates but this year, they have tried very hard to change this perception.

This year the company has brought in updates for many of its older generation smartphones as well. Moreover, not only this but Samsung is also going all-in in order to make a speedy delivery of the Android 10 (or One UI 2) for its compatible devices.

You can get an idea about this by looking at the Android security update cycle plan of Samsung where a lot of older generation smartphones are also slated to get security updates.

Moreover, the company is seeing the effects of efforts on the bigger picture as well. According to a research by IDC (International Data Corporation), Samsung saw good growth in terms of mobile shipments for Q2 of 2019 as compared to Q2 of 2018.

Now, this is what we expect from a big smartphone manufacturer, it must cover all its bases before moving forward. Keeping up with this positivity, the Verizon variants of the Galaxy J3, J3 V, J7 & J7 V are now receiving the September 2019 security update.
