At a time, when bugs plaguing Google and Samsung flagships are hitting the headlines daily, Apple – it seems – doesn’t like to be left behind.
As if the recently reported Bluetooth connectivity and microphone glitches on iPhone were not enough of a trouble, now it has come to light that a large number of users – in fact very large – have been reporting a blurry screen issue as well.
Back in September, Apple rolled out iOS 11, and it’s since then that iPhone (6,7,8, and even X) users have been grumbling on different help forums about their devices’ screen going blur, mostly while using certain apps.
But looks as if all the complains fell on deaf ears, as nothing seems to have changed, the matter still stands unaddressed, and users continue to complain.
The number on the ‘Me too’ button clearly confirms the problem is indeed very widespread, affecting thousands of users. And that’s just Apple’s official forums we’re talking about here. We found several tweets about the issue as well.

Most of those affected note that the blur shows up when the device is in the phone mode, while using the Phone app. Rebooting the device or closing the apps momentarily resolves the issue for some, but frequent reboots to temporarily fix the issue is not an acceptable workaround.
Though the company hasn’t said much officially, recent comments reveal it’s been informing individual users that they’ll only look into the problem if it’s big enough.
The number of complaints are already in thousands, so not sure how many more complaints it will take for Apple to look into this. We really hope the company will soon address the issue in question. Meanwhile, we’are keeping a close watch on all related developments, so keep visiting this space.
