Moreover, major US carriers like Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile have already delivered in the November 2019 security update for the Galaxy S10e/S10/S10+. And finally, the carrier unlocked variants are also getting the taste of this patch.

Notably, the November security patch fixes a lot of vulnerability for Android devices. You can read in detail about the November patch, on the Android Security Bulletin website.

Notably, this update is not a purely incremental security update, rather it tags along with some improvements in the fingerprint algorithm as well. Besides, the US unlocked variant of Galaxy S10 received a second October update with tons of Note 10 specific software features.

For naive, Samsung fell prey to the “fingerprint-gate” controversy. It is related to the security vulnerability of the fingerprint scanners on Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series. They reportedly can be easily fooled with the help of aftermarket screen protectors.

It was so severe that certain banks also started blacklisting Galaxy S10 for its insecure fingerprint scanner. However, Samsung quickly reacted to this and pushed in a certain emergency hotfix update to address this issue.

Now coming back to the latest update, it carries build number G97xU1UES2BSIV and is based on Android 9 Pie. Below is the official changelog and the screenshot of the update:
