If we talk about a complete smartphone, then the Galaxy Note devices are probably the closest that we can get. Not for one but, there are several reasons that make the Samsung Galaxy Note devices a complete smartphone.
Talking about the facts, you get top of the line specs along with dust and water resistance. Then you get the almighty S-Pen that in my opinion, is the best thing or accessory that a smartphone can have.
Moreover, the battery, camera, screen, and the design form factor of the Galaxy Note devices put them at the top of the list when we talk about a complete smartphone.
And recently, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 10 series devices that include the standard Note 10 and the plus variant, Note 10+. This was, however, for the first time that Samsung brought in two devices in the Note series.
Talking about some specs, Note 10+ has a 6.8-inch (1440p) AMOLED display and sports a triple 12MP+16MP+12MP camera setup at the back. In the front, you get a 10MP shooter.
Under the hood, the Note 10+ is powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with 8GB-12GB of RAM. Note 10+ packs in a 4300 mAh battery and features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner as well.
Samsung has recently pushed the security updates for a lot of devices. Ticking off one more device from the list of receiving October updates is the Galaxy Note 10+.
The update has been rolled out US unlocked variant of the device, but reportedly is also being received on Exynos variants in Germany, and unlocked variant in the UK as well.
Talking about the update, it carries the version number N97U1UES1ASI3 / N975U1OYM1ASI3 / N975U1UES1ASI3 and weighs in around 204.64MB in size for the US Unlocked variant. However, the update received in Germany ways in about 259.69MB and 244.74MB for UK.
Below are the screenshot and the official changelog of the update:
What’s new:
- The security of your device has been improved.
- Security patch level: October 1, 2019
The update does not bring any new features apart from the October patch. The update is expected to roll out to other regions as well via OTA.
You can check for the update on your device by heading to Settings>>Software Update>>Download and Install. If there is a new update notification then, you can tap on it to install the latest October update on your Galaxy Note 10+ device.
Happy Installing!
