The jailbreak community is home to countless interesting and useful jailbreak tweaks for jailbroken iOS devices. These tweaks range from ones that change the look and feel of the UI to ones that are purely for kicks and giggles.

The first step to hopping onto the jailbreak life and installing all these tweaks on your iOS device is to first jailbreak your device. The most popular tools to attaining this are checkra1n and unc0ver.

Recently, we saw a rather important release of unc0ver, build v5.0.0. This build of unc0ver came with some pretty bold claims, the ability to jailbreak any version of iOS from version 11, all the way to iOS 13.5. (with minor exceptions).

Following up on that release, today the team over at Unc0ver is releasing yet another build, this time v5.1.0 b1. This beta build has one headlining feature, this v5.1.0 b1 is able to jailbreak tvOS.

What’s New:
-Add Beta support for tvOS

Unc0ver v5.1.0 b1 is a Beta release, and the support for jailbreaking tvOS is also in its Beta stage and as such, it is wise to go in expecting a few things not to work correctly.

That said, this tool is available for download on Unc0ver’s official site’s download page. You can download the .ipa file for this build of unc0ver here.

The Jailbreak community is a rather compelling proposition for many as it ‘fixes’ one major shortcoming that Android fanboys cannot live without, customizability.

With new Jailbreak tweaks being released almost every day, many are considering jumping ship and trying out iOS for the first time, just to take advantage of the Jailbreak tweaks available. We can only hope that this community continues to thrive and help push iOS to get even more features.

Many thanks to Ashutosh Dubey for the tip!

NOTE: We have these and many more Jailbreak tweaks in our dedicated Jailbreak section.
