Original story (published on April 10) follows:

During the last week of March, the Korean OEM Samsung pushed the latest iteration of their Android skin One UI 2.1 to Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10 series devices. The update brought in Galaxy S20 goodies like AR Emoji, Pro video, 4K 60fps (front camera), Quick Share, Music Share, etc.

However, not all devices got all the functionalities. Take, for example, the Night Hyperlapse feature. The lighter variant of the Note 10 series, i.e. Note 10 Lite didn’t get hands on it. While the update landed on devices in India, UK, and some European regions, US and Canada ones were left gawking.

Then a few days later, the US carriers Sprint and Verizon released One UI 2.1 for Galaxy Note 10 devices, leaving behind T-Mobile and AT&T. The US unlocked Note 10 devices also got it around the same time. As for the Canadian devices, we recently highlighted they will get to experience One UI 2.1 starting April 13.

Cut to now, incoming is good news for Samsung Galaxy Note 10 device holders, at least those on T-Mobile network. The magenta carrier has pushed the One UI 2.1 update for Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+ and Note 10+ 5G.

The following are screengrabs shared by Note 10+ 5G and Note 10 (Hungary) users.

So the wait is finally over for T-Mobile Note 10 users.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 users’ fate in terms of the One UI 2.1 update still lies in limbo. This is because reports have surfaced that both the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy Note 9 might not get updated to One UI 2.1 after all. For more on that story, check out our post.
