Samsung smartphones are among the list of the heavily skinned devices. Thanks to the One UI, which was brought along with Android 9 Pie, Samsung converted its weird TouchWiz skin to a more convenient and practical UI.
Moreover, the company is working on to push out the 2.0 iteration of One UI which would be based on the latest Android 10 OS. Matter of fact, the users of the Korean OEM’s current-gen flagship devices i.e. Galaxy S10 & Note 10 have already received One UI 2.0 beta updates in specific regions.
The company is also not far behind in pushing out the latest security updates for its devices. Talking about network carriers in the U.S., T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon have already pushed the latest October patch for the Galaxy Note 10 lineup (including the Plus variant).
Not only this, Sprint recently pushed the October update for the Galaxy S10 series that brings along some of the features from the Galaxy Note 10.
Matter of fact, in a recent development, Sprint has pushed the latest security update for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ devices. The update also brings in some improvements in the audio through wired earphones along with the October patch.
To recall, the Galaxy Note 10 lineup got into the “fingerprint-gate” controversy along with the Galaxy S10 series. Samsung has pushed the Biometric Update in various regions to address the matter.
The update carries version number ASJ2 and weighs in around 335 MB in size and brings in October 1, 2019 patch level. Below is the screenshot and the official changelog of the update:

- The audio quality through wired earphones has been improved.
- The security of your device has been improved.

Note that the update for both Galaxy Note 10/10+ has been pushed via OTA and will take some in hitting the devices. But, you can check for the updates manually by heading to System>>Software Updates>>Download updates manually.
