The jailbreak community is very active, now more than ever. With relatively sure-bet ways to easily attain jailbreak like Checkra1n easily available to users, and regularly updated to support even the very latest versions of iOS, there’s never been a better time to jailbreak.

The same jailbreak community boasts of countless tweaks that allow users to change almost every aspect of their iOS device. From changing the look and feel of the Action Centre to QR code for Personal Hotspot, and everything in between.

An upcoming Jailbreak tool dubbed Ruby is causing waves in the Jailbreak community. The tweak which is developed by well-known Jailbreak developers, timeloop and LaughingQuoll promises to bring changes to the Siri user interface.

Little else is available on the forums in terms of what exactly this tool is meant to do or the extent to which it will alter the Siri interface (or replace Siri altogether).

If the shared poster is anything to go by, the new tweak will bring a little more functionality to the Siri interface while changing the look and feel of the Digitial Assistant from Apple.

Reaction on the forums is split between people who are lauding the two developers for yet another Jailbreak tweak for iOS and another faction that draws a lot of parallels between the upcoming tweak and yet another open-source tweak for Siri, called Small Siri.

After Prysm & Quartz, the duo of u/laughingquoll & u/serumfabian are back with another amazing tweak Ruby, a replacement of the old & boring Siri.

Many Apple users agree that the Achilles heel to the otherwise pretty complete operating system that is iOS, is Siri. Competitors like Google Assistant and even Amazon’s Alexa are far more superior. If this jailbreak tweak goes to fix something about the Siri experience, then I am certain that many will applaud the effort.

We shall keep an eye on this project and update as, and when we get more info from the developers on availability and release dates. Stay tuned to our Jailbreak section for more.
