The jailbreak ecosystem today is very diverse. Once you jailbreak your device, there are countless tweaks that you can install on your device from various trusted sources, with relatively little risk.
These range from useful tools like an alternative App Store, to cosmetic tweaks that change the whole look and feel of your iOS, to more playful ones like Gravitation or FortuneCookie that are just fun to have, and everything in between.
Your gateway into the whole jailbreak scene has got to be Checkra1n. This jailbreak tool is one of the best in the business. It is rather well supported and frequently updated to support even the very latest version of iOS.
Today we look at an upcoming Jailbreak tweak called Primo. This tweak, despite still being in the works, has elicited so much interest among iPhone users. And for good reason, it brings a little more functionality to the old, boring dock.
See, the default iPhone dock can only hold 4 or 5 app icons that remain permanent no matter what home screen you’re on. This is useful because it gives you access to your frequently used apps like, say the Camera, your Messaging app, your web browser, and your dialer.
But we use more apps on the regular than just these few apps. That is where Primo comes in. This jailbreak tweak adds more pages to the dock, allowing you to have ‘multiple docks’. This means you are no longer restricted to just a handful of apps.
From the promotional images shared, it looks like the tweak will support even more functionality on the dock like Media control. If this is the case, this new tweak will no doubt, greatly simplify these tasks by putting them right at your fingertips.
NOTE: We have these and many more Jailbreak tweaks in our dedicated jailbreak section and Jailbreak tweaks section.
