Samsung Galaxy Note 10 picks up another November software update with OneDrive integration

Samsung might still be struggling with Android 10 updates, but the company has been quite prolific with Android security updates. As of this writing, for instance, several Samsung devices have already received their November security patches.

In fact, the likes of Galaxy S10 and Note 10 devices taking part in the One UI 2.0 beta program got this new patch more than a week before the end of October.

Their counterparts in the stable channel followed suit soon after, with other devices like the Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9, and Galaxy Tab S4 picking up this update over the past week as well.

Even more interesting is that the usually slow U.S. carriers have already released their November security updates to some of these devices. It all started with the Note 10 models on AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and U.S. unlocked in the U.S.

The Galaxy S10 series on Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon have also picked up the November security patch with fingerprint improvements and so has the U.S. unlocked models. Apparently, Samsung has a new firmware for those using the Note 10 and Note 10+ in Europe, Switzerland to be specific.

This region was the first to receive the November security patch late last month. As a result, the incoming update stays on the same security patch level, but with a few changes under the hood.

Looking at the new firmware version N975FXXU1ASJM, there is a new build number ASJM, up from version ASJG that brought the initial November security update as version N975FXXS1ASJG. The bootloader version has also been improved and so have the modem (N975FXXU1ASJ4) and CSC (N975FOXM1ASJC) versions.

Note that the new ASJM update is available for both the standard and plus variants of the Note 10 in Switzerland. More regions should join the party unless this is a one-off update meant to address something very specific to the region. Or maybe it’s in preparation for Android 10 stable?
