Tech enthusiasts across the globe wait for the beginning of a new year because it is the time where we get to witness new innovative smartphones from different OEMs.
Moreover, 2019 has been quite an exciting year for the tech fans, but 2020 promises to have more in store for us. Talk about innovation, one of the most awaited smartphones of 2020 is the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2.
After having launched the Galaxy Fold back in 2019, Samsung is going in with full throttle for bringing out the next-gen Galaxy Fold. However, the company is taking every step very cautiously.
We all are aware about the “broken-screen fiasco” which was reported by many users as well as tech-reviewers. This made the company call back all the ordered Galaxy Fold devices back.
Months after keeping the device under strict supervision and fixing the issue, Galaxy Fold made a comeback in the market and was made available for the public.
To recall, the Galaxy Fold packs in features like Snapdragon 855, 12 GB of RAM, 512 GB of onboard storage, a 7.3-inch foldable screen, triple 12MP+12MP+16MP rear camera with dual 10MP+8MP selfie camera, a 4,380 mAh battery, and more.
Now, this year we are going to have the Galaxy Fold 2. Leaks and renders for this next-gen device have already surfaced. And, as we get closer to the launch of the device (expected to launch in February), new leaks and concept videos have started making rounds of the internet.
In a recent development, a concept video created by the team of Let’s Go Digital and Concept Creator gives us their interpretation of what could be the new Galaxy Fold 2. The video shows a curvy clamshell design along with a punch-hole display.
The punch-hole houses the front camera, and the hinge this time is less visible when the fold is either folded or unfolded. Besides, it shows that there is a dual-lens setup at the back.
What’s more interesting is that comparing this video with all the leaks and renders that till now have come out, we might indeed get a clamshell design for the Galaxy Fold 2.
Matter of fact, the device is definitely going to be compared with the Moto Razr smartphone released back in late 2019. However, we cannot confirm anything until something concrete comes up from Samsung.
