New monthly security update alerts on Samsung and Xiaomi phones!
South Korean phone manufacturer Samsung recently pushed the July OTA for Galaxy S10 devices. And Samsung Galaxy A50 is next. As you may know, Galaxy A50 is the OEM’s current year high-end phone fueled by a Exynos 9610 processor. The device embraces Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.

What’s new
· The stability of Camera has been improved

June OTA on Xiaomi Mi Max 3
Coming to Xiaomi, Mi Max 3 (Chinese OEM Xiaomi’s 2018 mid-ranger phone), is now receiving the June security patch instead of the latest one. Bumping the version from V10.3.2.0.PEDMIXM to V10.3.3.0.PEDMIXM, the patch adds the famous customizable lock screen clock.
Apart from that, it fixes problems like the media volume not restoring after notifications, hands-free call duration not displaying in Game Turbo and contacts not deleting from SIM. It also optimizes WiFi network sorting principles and Mi Cloud sync across devices.
Here’s what the complete changelog reads:

[Contacts]
Fix: Contacts couldn’t be deleted from SIM cards in some cases
[Lockscreen, status bar, Notification shade]

Needless to say, as is usually the case with firmware updates, they are rolled out in batches. Same goes for the July and June patch rolling out on Galaxy A50 and Mi Max 3. The updates may take time to make it to all units. So hang in tight, as you may get to see the notification on your units soon.
