The jailbreak community is thriving. In the recent past we have seen countless jailbreak tweaks that do just about anything from fortune cookie to ones that change the look and feel of your iOS device.
This has, for the most part, been enabled by the relative ease with which users can attain jailbreak, in part thanks to the well-maintained Jailbreak tools like Checkra1n.
Today we look at yet another jailbreak tweak, SafeRespring. This tweak is a little more system-deep than the others we have looked at in the past, but for good reason. The idea behind SafeRespring is simple. With this tweak, whenever the device gets frozen, this should hopefully help you respring the device and make it usable again.
The developer says that this tweak was originally made for the Flex tool because that freezes his device. The tweak is available for download from the developer’s repository, nicho1asdev.github.io/repo.
According to the developer, the way this tweak works is, it listens to hardware volume button presses and if it senses a certain pattern of key-presses, it resprings the device. By default, the pattern is to press Volume up >> Volume down >> Volume up >> Volume down quickly. Your device should respring.
This tweak should see an update soon that will add different patterns and a bunch of more options to this tweak.
NOTE: We have these and many more jailbreak tweaks in our dedicated jailbreak section. Check it out for more released and upcoming jailbreak tweaks.
