Asus ROG Phone 2 owners are still waiting for the stable update to Android 10. The device was recruited into the beta program back in November, but its unknown when the stable rollout will begin.

What is known, however, is that when the ROG Phone 2 Android 10 update arrives, it will address the annoying issue with PS4 DualShock Controller.

Depending on how soon it rolls out, this very update could also be the one to address one of the latest issues facing the ROG Phone II if it turns out to be software-related.

Apparently, some owners of the gaming set are reporting an issue where the phone automatically restarts after the person on the other end ends a phone call that was received via a Bluetooth headset.

Asus still has no idea what could be causing the ROG Phone 2 to restart after a call. Apparently, the issue is more pronounced when the other party ends the call and not when the ROG Phone 2 owner ends the call.

Issue occurs mostly when the screen is locked and the other party disconnects the call. When I unlock and hangup the call then issue does not occur most of the time but sometimes.

As noted earlier, the ROG Phone II Android 10 update could be the one to fix this issue if at all it’s anywhere near rolling out. The irony, though, is that ZenFone 6 (Asus 6z) owners have also faced a similar issue after updating to Android 10.

The best Asus is doing, for now, is instructing affected ROG Phone 2 owners on how to log their phones so that the root cause can be identified and hopefully fixed.

We will follow up on the story and update this article as and when we get news. Meanwhile, stay tuned to our Asus section for related coverage.
