New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on March 03, 2020) follows:
Realme UI first landed on the Realme X2 Pro before making its way to the standard Realme X2 in China back in January 2020. Realme invited the Indian variant of the X2 into the program and dished out the update last month.
While all this was happening, owners of the Realme X2 Pro stayed in the dark, at least until Realme India recently revealed that the device will receive the stable Realme UI update in mid-March 2020.
The release date story isn’t so different for the Realme X2 Realme UI update either, but the rollout may begin in late March as opposed to the Pro’s mid-March availability.
That’s a pretty long wait, right? Well, if you think so, Realme has a chance for you to try an “almost ready” version of Android 10 on your Realme X2 or Realme X2 Pro handset ahead of the official rollout later this month.
This isn’t the final version of the update, but just a beta version that is in the final stages. Realme says those who get this version will still receive another update to push them to the stable version when it arrives.
Unfortunately, there are only 3,000 slots available for each device in this early access program, so you’ll have to do things quickly. Speaking of, you have to fill the form linked below in order to be considered for the Realme UI update.
Also, be warned that you won’t receive the update if the IMEI number provided is incorrect, does not match the selected model, or belongs to a non-Indian variant of the Realme X2 or X2 Pro. You may check out the full announcement post here.
