Realme is doing a really good job. The OEM’s success in the last year is in most part, due to the price-to-feature ratio. Moreover, it is the brand, where more innovation and design elements are pretty aggressively implemented and it turns out users like it.
The company is slowly moving its focus towards the upper tier of the smartphone market. They are continuously bringing premium offerings with affordable price tags. The mantra worked astonishingly well for Xiaomi, thus these two Chinese OEMs are battling a fierce conflict with each other.
Apart from the ‘Pro’ variant, the regular Realme X2 is also powered by the fairly capable Snapdragon 730G processor. The phone is paired with 6/8 GB of RAM with 64/12/256 GB of internal storage. It sports a 6.4-inch waterdrop notch styled Super AMOLED display.
Today, Realme is rolling out the November Android security patch to the Realme X2. Besides the bump in patch level, the update packs a bunch of handy improvements to the user experience. Most importantly though is the camera improvements that the OTA brings.

It is worth noting that the Realme X2 has been rather well updated in the past. Most recently, we saw the European version of this device got the October security patch.
The update brought a bunch of new features with it. Most notable was the addition of a dark mode & selfie Nightscape. In late September, it received its first update that brought camera & audio enhancements.
The Chinese variant of this phone is currently receiving the new security patch. The phone will soon be available in India as Realme XT 730G, and we hope it will come with the most up-to-date patches out of the box. Realme also uploaded the kernel source code for the phone for community development.
