Realme C2 December update is here with November patch & touch response improvements (Download link inside)

Realme has really excelled in the expectations of the users by introducing brilliant smartphones that pack in powerful specs under low prices. For instance, the Realme X2 Pro brings back the ‘flagship killer’ vibe.

Talking about the specs, the phone sports a 90Hz refresh rate display, Snapdragon 855+ SoC, a huge 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging support of an insane 50W, 6/8/12 GB of RAM, 64/256 GB of onboard storage.

The Chinese OEM already started recruiting beta testers to evaluate Android 10 based ColorOS 7 for this device. They also published a roadmap regarding the stable rollout of Realme UI, the new skin.

As you may notice, Realme C2 resides at the furthest corner of the ColorOS 7 update schedule. Nevertheless, a new OTA is now available for the Helio P22 powered phone that brings November 2019 security patchset along with a fix for the touch screen issue.

For specs buff, Realme C2 was unveiled in May 2019 and it sports a 6.1-inch IPS LCD display. On top of 2/3 GB RAM, you get an onboard storage capacity of 16/32 GB which is further expandable up to 256 GB via microSD.

Talking about the camera, you get dual 13 MP+2 MP sensors at the back and a single 5 MP shooter in the front. Under the hood, the device has a battery capacity of 4,000 mAh. Realme brought system-wide dark mode and experimental ‘Laboratory’ support via the previous update.

Now coming back to the newest update, it carries version number A.20 and weighs in about 2.0 GB in size. Below is the official changelog along with the screenshot of the announcement:

Keep in mind that the update will be pushed via OTA in batches and will take some time in hitting all the units. However, you can always go ahead and manually check for the update by heading to Settings>>Software Updates>>Check for new updates.
