New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on July 21, 2020) follows:
Realme Buds Q were launched just last month and the official page of the product makes it an irresistible deal as everyone wants to get their hands on these truly wireless ear buds.
The light weight Realme Buds Q offer a total of 20 hour playback while a single playback lasts 4.5 hours. The buds use Bluetooth 5 connectivity which makes them super synchronized. Also, they are highly accessible because of their intelligent touch controls.
However, a new issue seems to have emerged where users are not able to charge their Realme Buds Q after the first use. A defect in the charging case is causing this issue and many users who are facing it are certainly not satisfied with the product.
The issue has not been addressed by Realme yet but it appears to be a real problem as users are keen on returning the buds because of it.
The Realme Buds Q with all the amazing features seems to be drawing negative attention because of the defective charging cases. This is simply due to the fact that the device is of no use if it cannot be charged after a single use.
Many users also posted their concerns on Twitter but are awaiting a response from Realme.

Considering this to be a new venture for Realme, it’s only natural for such issues to occur. However, the OEM will also have to take care of users’ concerns regarding this and act on it accordingly.
The delay in responding could simply mean that the OEM is currently trying to figure out a way to fix this problem. Since the issue appears to be on a larger scale, the vendor will have to replace its existing stock.
It has been a tough year, particularly for smartphone manufacturers due to the coronavirus pandemic. Still, OEMs like Realme are trying their best to pick up the pace and get back in the game.
While Realme Buds Q users are currently on their own, we hope that Realme looks into the matter and provide some good news to the users soon.
Update 1 (August 14)
The Realme Buds Q seems to have been removed from Amazon in India. The Buds Q are no longer listed on the e-commerce site even though the Buds Q came as an Amazon exclusive product. At the moment, neither Realme nor Amazon has made a comment on the matter.
