Realme is one of the fastest-growing brands globally. With the addition of low priced yet featureful smartphones in its portfolio, the company is surely trying to establish itself as one of the major players in the smartphone industry.

Talking about some numbers that reflect the true potential of the brand, according to a report by CMR MICI survey, Realme was placed in the first position in terms of lowest return rates for any smartphone brand.

In simpler words, lowest return rates are measured by the customer’s first visit to a service center within the first 6 months of purchase, for both online and offline buyers.

Moreover, digging in deep in the report, the users have also ranked Realme smartphones one of the top brands (90%) when it comes to smartphone reliability. These numbers show that the company is headed in the right direction, bringing out the services users that users look forward to.

Now, with all this positivity in the bag, Realme has pushed the latest September 2019 security update for the Realme 5 (September update once again?) and the Realme C2 smartphones. Let us first talk about the update received on the Realme 5 OTA.

The new update for the Realme 5, carries the version number A.14 (sized 2.53 GB) and brings in some new enhancements to the camera as well as the September patch. Realme has also provided the link to download the update for power users who wish you sideload the update package on their device.

To clear the confusion, there was a previous official announcement made by Realme the cover of which stated September 2019. However, the changelog did not mention anything related to the September security patch.

And incoming is another September security update announcement, that has a different changelog, and slightly different build number, an the official announcement says it brings in the September security patch. So yes, we can say the A.14 build actually brings the September security patch.
