Original story (published on April 7) follows:

Realme’s upcoming skin, dubbed Realme UI 1.0 has been said to be essentially a rebadged build of ColorOS, the skin that runs on many OPPO devices. The upcoming skin does pack a number of goodies.

Realme recently released its roadmap for Realme UI that detailed when many of the company’s current phones are expected to bag the update. In the roadmap, the Realme 3 and Realme 3i were slated to get updated to RealmeUI sometime this month.

True to the company’s word, we saw the development of the same, kicking off. Just a few days ago, Realme began recruiting Beta testers for the same. This early-bird application ran for a few days and you can read more about that here.

According to reports, Realme is already gearing up for a beta rollout of Realme UI for the Realme 3 and Realme 3i soon. In the announcement for the Beta testing recruitment, the company said that upon successful registration for Realme UI 1.0 beta, a new build i.e. A.27 would roll out to the devices.

Well, true to the company’s word, users who applied for Beta testing of the upcoming Realme UI build have started receiving the said A.27 update on their Realme 3 and Realme 3i devices.

Users who are part of the Beta testing program are having their Realme 3 and 3i devices picking up a new update bearing build RMX1821EX_11.A.27. The update is still based on Android 9 Pie, at least according to the shared screenshots. This is good news to Realme 3 and Realme 3i users all around as it means that development is still on course.

This is despite the ongoing global crisis that is the Corona Virus Pandemic (COVID-19). It is refreshing to see a company stick to its timelines even during these trying times when many economies have slowed down or shutdown altogether.
