Mythical Pokemon Jirachi has finally awoken, and players can catch Jirachi by completing the special research tasks. Jirachi is now available to all trainers via Special Research.
Players who have already completed the exclusive Pokemon Go Fest Special Research and have caught Jirachi should also look to complete the new Special Research.
Completing the new Special Research tasks will earn them Candy to power up Jirachi.
Jirachi’s ‘A Thousand Year Slumber Event’ has been divided into seven stages. Mentioned below are the tasks that need to be completed to encounter Jirachi.

Stage seven of the event is yet to be explored, which will possibly reward players with ‘Jirachi’ encounter. Once you complete ‘A Thousand Year Slumber’ research task, a Jirachi T-shirt will also be rewarded in the Style Shop.
For a quick refresher, Pokemon Go Ultra Bonus event begins on September 02, which focuses on Johto Pokémon. Week 2 of the event focuses on the Kanto region and Kanto regionals Pokemon.
Week 3 of the event is special, as it will add Generation 5 Pokemon to the game. The Gear Pokémon Klink, originally discovered in Unova, will also appear in raids. You might even encounter a Shiny Klink.
