Pokemon Go Halloween event 2019 teased by Niantic in official tweet

Pokemon Go October Community Day will go live today. This month’s Community Day features a ground type Pokemon, Trapinch. It is an Ant-Pit species Pokemon and was introduced in Generation III. During the Community Day hours, Trapinch will spawn more frequently in the wild.

Pokemon Go October Community Day also features a variety of bonuses for players. The list of bonuses that are available under the event are the following: 3x Catch XP and 3-hour Lure Modules. Trapinch has two evolutions, Trapinch evolves in Vibrava at level 35, and Vibrava further evolves into Flygon at level 45. If you are lucky, you encounter Shiny Trapinch.

Apart from the Community Day, Niantic has teased Pokemon Go Halloween event with an official tweet. Pokemon Go Halloween event is expected to feature Ghost-type and Dark-type Pokemon. The official tweet from Niantic reads the following: October is here, which means it’s almost time to make things a bit spookier. Have a look at the official tweet below.

Niantic introduced Generation 5 Pokemon to the game on September 16. So, we can expect to see some new Generation 5 Dark-type and Ghost-type Pokemon making their entry to the game this Halloween.

We can expect to see the following Dark-type Pokemon for this Halloween event: Scraggy, Zorua, Pawniard, Vullaby, and Sandlie. There is also a possibility that we may see a new Legendary Raid Boss for the upcoming Halloween event.

Many players think that Niantic may introduce Darkrai to the game as Tier 5 Raid Boss. Pokemon Go spooky Halloween event is also expected to increase the spawns of Ghost-type and Dark-type Pokemon. Speaking of Ghost Pokemon, we can also expect the entry of Frillish to the game.

Players should also expect the introduction of new shinies to the game. We can expect the shinies version of the following Ghost game Pokemon: Shedinja, Litwick and Spiritomb. Well, one thing is undoubtedly certain that Niantic will make this Halloween event spooky for players.
