Pokemon Go Community Day for August has been announced on Pokemon Go official Twitter handle. Community Day for August will feature Ralts, a Psychic and Fairy-type Pokemon.

As usual, Community Day for August is bringing a lot of bonuses to the game. Pokemon Go August Community Day will go live on August 3 at 4 p.m. and will stay live until 7 p.m. in your local time zone.

During Pokemon Go August Community Day, Ralts will spawn more frequently in the wild. Pokemon Go Community Day offers a variety of bonuses. The list of bonuses and features for the upcoming Community Day are mentioned below.

1) Lures will last for 3 hours
2) 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance
3) Players who will be lucky may get a chance to catch shiny Ralts.
4) All Gardevoir and Gallade evolved during Community Day will learn exclusive move which will be announced later.
5) Evolving Shiny Ralts will unlocks shiny Kirlia, Gardevoir and Gallade.

Weather Boost

Ralts will be boosted by Cloudy and Windy weather.

1/4 Hatch Distances

The upcoming Community Day will also reduce the hatch distance for all incubated eggs during Community Day hours. For example, a 10 km incubated egg will only take 2.50 km to hatch.

Pokemon-Go-Eggs

For a quick refresher, Niantic has removed the recently added Team Go Rocket Grunt from the game. Team Go Rocket invaded Pokestops, and players were required to defeat them in a battle.

Team Go Rocket used three Shadow Pokemon of the same type, and after defeating Team Go Rocket Grunt, players needed to purify Shadow Pokemon.

It required 2000 Stardust and 2 Candy to purify a Shadow Pokemon. The list of Shadow Pokemon that were made available includes the following:

7) Squirtle
8) Wartortle
9) Blastoise
10) Rattata
11) Raticate
12) Zubat

Also, recent data mined research disclosed that Jirachi will soon be available globally. Earlier, Jirachi was made available through special research tasks at Pokémon GO Fest, but no information regarding its worldwide release was made out.

Following a similar pattern, last year’s Celebi was first made available for the Chicago fest, and then after a month, it was released worldwide.

According to the leaked information, Jirachi special quest focus on Hoenn region Pokemon. Players will also be required to catch Whimsur and Loudred.
