This story is being continuously updated…. New updates are being added at the bottom…..
Original story (from August 06) follows:
Pocophone F1 has been the talk of the town lately and it has not been because of any good reasons. The MIUI 12 stable update for the device is long due and has been getting postponed time and again.
We reported earlier that the Poco F1 will receive the latest custom skin in August as the device is listed in the second round of the MIUI 12 update schedule. However, the second round has already started and there is still no sign of the update.
Now, it seems that the Poco F1 MIUI 12 stable update will be further delayed. Today, the Pocofone F1 Global and Poco India official Telegram groups tweaked their announcement post stating that the update will get postponed.
The announcement post in both groups is tweaked again and now states that the MIUI 12 update is postponed due to bugs and instability issues. The post has been tweaked for the third time in the same week while twice in the same day.
Here’s the newly tweaked message from the announcement post:
Poco F1: planned to release next week (might get postponed, don’t blame me), due to some bugs and stability issues update has been postponed again and again, hopefully everything will get fixed by August.
This means that general users will have to sit tight as the update will be first released for the Mi Pilot program members. Also, it is unclear when the testers are going to get it. So, it is safe to say that general users should not keep their hopes high.
Meanwhile, we will keep tracking this story and will update it as and when more information is available so keep an eye on our Pocophone F1 update tracker.
