[Update: Rolling out] PES Mobile 2019 3-day server maintenance starts, will get updated to PES 2020

You remember Snake Xenzia, don’t you? If you ever used Nokia’s entry level phones (like the old 3310), you can’t help reminiscing the vintage memories. Yeah, it is true that the all-new 3310 also comes with a refined version of the game.

We have come a long way with regards to mobile games. The developers already improved the scenes with close-to-reality graphics. In case you hate violent games and cherish playing sports titles, you can’t overlook Pro Evolution Soccer aka PES (of course, there is a PES vs FIFA debate).

Did you try opening PES Mobile 2019 today? You got an error message, didn’t you? When you continuously try to get through, it might have rerouted you to the Play Store page of the game. Don’t worry! It ain’t a bug, but an indication that a major update is underway (PES 2020, of course).

Starting from today, you can’t play PES 2019 on mobile for the next three days. To be specific, the server maintenance will end on 17/10/2019 08:00 (UTC). Moreover, they will prolong the three-day period if needed.

Konami had already notified every user through an open notice, displayed on launching the game. Once the update window ends, you can enjoy PES 2020 with at least a few new features (probably!). You can read the official notice below.

Large-Scale Maintenance/PES 2020 Pre-Open Notice
We will soon be conducting large-scale maintenance in order to update the game to eFootball PES 2020. See below for further details.
Maintenance Period:
14/10/2019 02:00 – 17/10/2019 08:00 (UTC)
*Maintenance may be extended further if necessary.
*The pre-open period may begin ahead of schedule if maintenance concludes early.
Purpose of Maintenance:
To perform a version update from PES 2019 to eFootball PES 2020.
How will Large-Scale Maintenance Impact my Game?
You will still be able to launch the game during large-scale maintenance, but you will not be able to proceed beyond the title window.

You have to bear in mind that they treat the days from 17 to 24 (October) as pre-open period. Meaning, there may be unannounced maintenances.

Although you get to use updated team squads, you will be unable to leverage features like Live Updates, Special Agents, Box Draws, Login Campaign and a few leagues.

eFootball PES 2020 is available as an update to both iOS and Android. Due to simultaneous crashing, many are unable to play, though.
