Original story (from Oct 17) follows:

Sports games usually get upgraded every year (take WWE, NBA, and FIFA). As for some mobile games, these overhauls come out as hefty updates from the app store. So, the final few months of every year is full of excitement and eagerness for a sports game fanatic.

The last three days have been quite boring for a PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) Mobile fan because Konami started a three-day maintenance to update the game to the latest version (PES 2020). And, the new version hit the units as an update on the next day.

But, it was crashing (yeah, it’s perfectly okay because the proposed pimeriod hadn’t ended by then).

PES 2020 crashing
Crash report

The crashing issue was unexpected! Nonetheless, they were responsible enough to address it quick. Yesterday, the Japanese company announced they are going to release the fix today. Guess what! It’s live on the respective stores for iOS and Android (version 4.0.1).

In the same statement, they made it clear that the maintenance is going to last until 18 October 08:00 UTC (they had already indicated about the prolongation if needs be). So, we can’t play the game anytime before. Without having the patience to wait for another day, I installed the update.

And yay, the crashing bug has gone!

Once you launch the game, it will ask you to install another teeny-tiny update and then, the commentary data (300+ MB size). Don’t do any of these in the hopes of getting the all-new PES 2020 experience. As they already publicised, the game will only go playable tomorrow.

What you can do now? Well, let me interest you in the startup images. As with the previous version, you get different pictures every time you open it up. We have gathered four of them below. Which one do you like the most?

If everything goes in accordance with the schedule, you can play PES 2020 tomorrow (on iOS and Android). Not only will we update this story, but will also publish a new one with all the changes and features.

Update 1 (Oct 18)

You can now play PES 2020 on Android and iOS. But, they will conduct occasional maintenances without prior notice until 24 October during the pre-open period. Check the full story here.

A word of caution:- Don’t delete or uninstall the game. It’s not going to change the scenario. Just wait!

Update 2 (Feb 06, 2020)
