The development of Android 12 is on and Android OEMs like Oppo are in the early stages of testing their Android 12 update.

To recall, Oppo Find X3 Pro was among the devices which took part in the Android 12 Developer Program.

While speculations have been rife about the ColorOS 12 update based on Android 12, not much details about the same have come to light so far.

However, some more details have recently surfaced which might give some insight on what the ColorOS 12 update is going to be like.

According to a popular leaker, Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Oppo Android 12 update is expected to bring major design changes.

The leaker’s recent Weibo post clearly outlines that the said UI design change elements might be mostly borrowed from MIUI and Flyme.

Also, several design elements might be from HydrogenOS which is only natural as OnePlus and Oppo have been collaborating for quite some time.

While not much details on the exact UI elements have been shared, it is possible that the upcoming ColorOS update might bring some huge changes.

Digital Chat Station also stated back in June that the said ColorOS update might include some features from Samaritan OS.

However, all this is still based on speculation as Oppo has not made any comments on the matter so far.

Since the development of Android 12 is progressing steadily, only time will tell how OEMs like Oppo will change their in-house custom skins according the latest Android version from Google.
