#OnePlus7 render, full specs and price leaked!!!...🤦♂️ pic.twitter.com/ETqrVKz3CY

What can I say – the leak train of OnePlus 7 is finally picking up the speed. We talked about the leaked case renders of OnePlus 7 in our last daily dose of OnePlus news. And here we go – an online retailer has put up a page for the upcoming flagship from the Shenzhen based OEM.
Chinese retailer Giztop has also shared a front side view of the phone along with its specifications. The image is indeed similar with the recently leaked CAD renders by OnLeaks, although button placements are slightly different.
Allow me to help you remember: the previous render from OnLeaks shows a volume rocker button on the left, whereas this one indicates two volume buttons with a significant space.
Moreover, Giztop’s image has the alert slider missing, which can be seen on the right side of the phone in the previous renders. It is highly unlikely that OnePlus will drop the iconic alert slider, so take the new picture with a grain of salt.
OnLeaks (or should I say Steve H.McFly?) couldn’t help himself but mock the ‘leak’ and point out the residues of image editing:
Well well well, this is kinda same as those OPPOMART listings in every year.
Giztop has listed the specifications of the alleged OnePlus 7. Snapdragon 855 SoC, up to 12 GB of RAM and 6.5 inch AMOLED display… which are almost obvious at this moment.
It should be the first OnePlus phone to sport a triple rear camera setup consisting of 48 MP, 20 MP, and 16 MP cameras. We hope it will feature OPPO’s 10x zoom tech as well.
For selfies and video calling, there is this 16 MP popup front camera; although it is not possible to locate it from the picture.
The listing also mentions the following:
4000mAh battery, 44W super fast Dash charging.
The increment of battery capacity would be great (OnePlus 6T has 3700 mAh), but the ’44W super fast Dash charging’ thingy attracts our attention. OnePlus switched from ‘Dash charge’ to ‘Warp charge’ moniker due to copyright issues long ago.
OnePlus uses the proprietary VOOC charging technique from OPPO with a new name – nothing else. Typical VOOC/Dash charge operates at 5V/4A (20W).
The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition saw an upgrade with Warp Charge 30. The new version operates at 5V/6A (30W). OPPO also introduced SuperVOOC on some phones, with a freaking 10V/5A (50W) spec.
But none of them matches with the 44W charging. Vivo (which has a deep connection with OPPO and OnePlus), on the other hand, has the fast charging tech named Vivo FlashCharge. Guess what – it matches with the 44W specs.
According to my sources, Vivo is testing a new 44W fast charging technology named as Vivo FlashCharge.#Vivo pic.twitter.com/UsDZIPZ40v

I’m leaving the rest to you guys. ?
Meanwhile, OnePlus Community Manager David Y. started to tease OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users passionately regarding Android 9 Pie upgrade.
Quick recap: he’s the same guy who told impatient users to “… go and do something more meaningful than chasing the update…(facepalm)”.
He has decided to drop a subtle hint about the development status of the Pie update:
I tried the latest Pie (testing) build for 3/3T this afternoon and it looks good! I think we are pretty close to the good news now. However, each official update needs to meet our release standards, which requires more time. maybe we can share a beta build first?
He has stepped one step forward, and explained the constraints of releasing the beta builds to the public:
Not gonna lie. A beta build (or a community build whatever it called) before the official release is one of the options. The software team is working on a way to get this build to be able to receive the official Pie update thru OTA, so that users don’t have to flash builds back and forth. Let’s hope for the best.
Someone has even tried to convince him to release the testing build today for celebrating International Women’s Day!
Talking about International Women’s Day, OnePlus is celebrating the event in a stimulating manner.
