Update (January 3)

According to several users, Open Beta 8 update also brings in the One-handed mode that allows the user to reach areas that are a bit difficult to reach using a single hand.

You can check out the official statement below:

This Open Beta build also brings One-handed mode.

By swiping down on the left or the right edge of the screen, you can pull the screen down to reach those elements that are too far to reach with your thumb. You can then swipe back up to return the screen to its original state.

To try it, head to Settings -> Buttons & Gestures -> Quick Gestures -> Enable one-handed mode.
You can also tap the option to see a small tutorial on how to use this new feature.

Be sure to try it and let us know your thoughts.
