More and more Android phone-makers are pushing out the October Security Patch for their devices. Most recently, we have seen the Moto G7 Plus, Redmi 8 & Redmi 8A in Europe getting the important update.
Nokia has, for a while now, been at the forefront in pushing updates to their devices and it is among the first phone makers to make Android 10 officially available to their devices.
Nokia is pushing that even further with the rollout of the October Android Security Patch for Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 3.2, the links to which, we present to you today.
Nokia 8.1
The Nokia 8.1 started receiving Android 10 stable update earlier this month, becoming the first in the Snapdragon 700 series to get the new OS.
It also became the first Nokia device to get the 10 update, while others like the Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 7.1 expected to receive the OS in the coming days. The OS will later spread to the Nokia 6.1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, and Nokia 7 Plus, if lucky before the end of the year, but most likely in early 2020.
One surprising bit of the Nokia 8.1 Android 10 update, though, was that it came with September security patches yet it arrived when October patches were already available for several devices. But you probably didn’t notice since you were glued to all that comes with Android 10.
That was on October 29. Since then, many have received the update but if by any chance you haven’t received it yet, below is a link to the zip file.

Nokia 3.2
Nokia 3.2 users have been an aggrieved bunch. For some time, they complained about being stuck with outdated software. But that changed recently. Reports started coming in that the affected Nokia 3.2 users in Europe were receiving new software updates, up to the September security patch. The update was for TA-1164 and TA-1156 models having the 00EEA firmware.
Nevertheless, the October security update is reportedly rolling out for both global and European variants.
