There’s a lot going on regarding the upcoming Poco phone, as to whether it’ll be Poco F1’s successor Poco F2 or the Poco X2 rumors regarding which have been surfacing lately.
Poco’s declaration as an independent brand added fuel to fire and strengthened the belief of Poco hopefuls that Poco F2 isn’t at least dead, and the brand should be coming up with their next unit.
In between all these talks and leaks, incoming is an official word from the company itself regarding the release of their next phone. February 2020 it is!
Yes, Poco will be launching their next phone in the coming month, and the information comes from the horse’s mouth. Credits to Poco India who took to Twitter asking users not to believe the unofficial leaks and take the official information instead.

The document linked in the tweet reveals certain statements coming from POCO India General Manager C Manmohan regarding the brand’s future plans as a separate entity. And the main highlight is the revelation about the upcoming device. Here’s what Manmohan said:
We will launch our new phone next month. We will start online and then progress to additional channels
Will it be Poco F2 or Poco X2? Well, Manmohan didn’t reveal that. But the good news is that Poco is finally brining their next phone in February. So party on for Poco hopefuls. This surely is music to the ears of Poco fans who’ve been waiting eagerly.
Update 1 – Next device won’t be Poco F2
Here’s Manmohan in interaction with YouTuber Techno Ruhez revealing more details about the upcoming launch, Poco UI and other company plans. In crux, the company plans to release more than one device in 2020 and “Poco F2 will not be the first phone”.
Rather the company has some bigger plans (Poco X2? or something else).
