A new set of Android devices is up and ready for fresh updates. Realme C1, Realme 2, Nokia 8.1, Xperia 1, 5, XZ2 & XZ3, Oppo F11 Pro, AT&T Razer Phone 2, & Galaxy A50 are the devices that have made up to the list with May OTA. On the other hand, Huawei Mate Xs is picking up the April update.

Let’s glance at the update details one by one:

Samsung Galaxy A50

Samsung Galaxy A50 is getting the May security patch that implements bug fixes, fresh or improved features, and system reliability. The update arrives with build A505GUBS5BTE1 / A505GOWO5BTC4, measured at 124.87M.

Realme C1 & Realme 2

Realme has released the latest May patch for Realme C1 and Realme 2. Both devices run on Android 9 based ColorOS 6.0.1 and sadly won’t be upgraded in terms of the OS. This currently circulating monthly update brings in bug fixes and enhances the stability of the system.

Nokia 8.1

Nokia, as usual, is swift to announce its monthly updates, and this time the spotlight is on the Nokia 8.1. The safety patch for the device comes with additional security. The package size is 34.06MB.

Sony Xperia 1/5/XZ3/XZ2

Sony has also released the May OTA to its following devices:

Xperia 5

The first on the series is the Xperia 5. Considering that this is a security patch, it would improve device security. It might also come with the improved fingerprint sensitivity

Xperia XZ2

Xperia XZ2 is next on the security update list. The upgrade will boost the device’s security. The version 52.1.A.2.1 arrives. Having completed this update, you will not be allowed to downgrade.

Both of the devices are also getting the fresh May Security patch with improved security. The version number for Xperia 1 is 55.1.A.8.1 and Xperia Z3 is picking the version 52.1.A.2.1

Oppo F11 Pro

Oppo F11 Pro also gets the new May security patch that guarantees the phone’s improved stability and reliability. The scale of the update is a massive 2.68 GB.

AT&T Razer Phone 2

AT&T has released the May security patch for Razer Phone 2, which will help enhance the security of the device. the update is sized at 80.48MB.

Huawei Mate Xs

Out of all the devices listed today, Huawei Mate Xs (EMUI), unlike others is picking up the April update. It arrives with the bug fixes and improves the security and performance of the device. The build number is 10.0.1.139(C432E2R2P1), measured at 192MB.
