It’s raining new software updates for multiple Samsung, Xiaomi/Redmi, and Asus smartphones in various parts of the globe.

Some devices will be upgraded to the latest February 2020 security patch level following this firmware update while others will only manage to get to last month’s security patch level. No matter the patch level, these are the updates you shouldn’t ignore whatsoever.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 & Galaxy A6 updates

AT&T is rolling out the latest February security patch to the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The device has already been updated to Android 10 on the carrier, so this becomes the first software update into the new One UI 2.0 era.

The Galaxy Note 9 One UI 2.0 update arrived on AT&T with January security patches included and now the build version is being bumped to DTB1, up from DTA5.

Although the Galaxy A6 2018 is also expected to receive Android 10 this coming Q2 2020, folks on Sprint can only make do with the latest February security patches based on Android Pie.

The OTA package should hit your model SM-A600P as software version A600PVPS6BTB2.
