Pokemon Go fans can rejoice as a new Adventure Sync feature has been added to Pokemon Go. Adventure Sync was added to the game back in 2018, which allowed the game to track distance and location while the game is closed.
Currently, players are using the Adventure Sync feature to hatch eggs and to unlock weekly fitness goal rewards. Well, now it seems like Niantic has revamped the Adventure Sync feature of the game by adding a new functionality.
According to initial reports from various Pokemon Go players, a new Adventure sync functionality has been added. It informs players about nearby Pokemon even when the app is closed. Have a look at the screenshot below where a user has shared an image of the new Adventure Sync pop.
Earlier, the push notifications screen only had the Adventure Sync Walking option; now it also has the ‘Adventure Sync nearby’ option. Have a look at the old and new settings screen for Pokemon Go which shows the addition of Push Notification for Adventure Sync: Nearby
Also, Blanche’s Stardust Research Challenge Rewards are currently live in the game. The rewards event runs from August 13, 2019, and will stay live until August 20, 2019. The features and bonuses of Stardust Research Challenge Rewards are detailed below.
