Talking about the October patch rollout, several OEMs like Nokia, Samsung, OnePlus, etc have already pushed the update for their respective compatible devices.

Moreover, in a recent development, the latest devices to join the bandwagon for receiving the October security update is the Motorola One Power and the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. Let us talk about the updates one by one:

Motorola One Power

The update received on the Motorola One Power carries the version number PPTS29.74-41-5-7 and bumps the security patch level to October 2019.

For a refresher, the Motorola One Power was released back in October 2018 and is powered by the Snapdragon 636 and comes in 3/4/6GB of RAM options.

At the back, it sports a dual-camera 16+5MP setup and in the front, a 12MP selfie camera. Under the hood, the device packs in a massive 5000 mAh battery and has a fingerprint scanner at the back.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1

Probably, one of the weirdest named smartphones available, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is also reportedly getting the October update.

Notably, the Max Pro M1 smartphone received an update last month that brought in fixes for Widevine L1, screen rotation flickering and other issues

The new update carries the build number v16.2017.1910.059. Below is the official changelog and the screenshot of the update:

By the looks of it, both the updates look incremental in nature and just bring in the October 2019 security patch. Moreover, there are still no signs of Android 10 for any of the devices.
