If we talk about one of the best performing series, especially for Motorola since its inception, it should surely be the Moto G series devices.
To recall, Moto G-series was first introduced back in 2013, with the Moto G. and since then, the G-series portfolio has been expanded very rapidly. We have now the 8th generation of Moto G-series phones available.
And recently, the company has announced that it had sold over 100 million Moto G-series handsets since 2013. This also proves that smartphones priced at the mid-range segment are also hugely popular considering they maintain the price-to-spec ratio.
The Lenovo owned company has also tried its best to provide the users with the latest security as well as firmware updates. And as per a recent development, the Android 10 Kernel source code for the Motorola Moto G7 Plus has gone live.
This means that custom ROM developers and modders can now take the front seat and come up with modded apps and ROMs to enhance the features of the phone.
Notably, the Motorola Moto G7 Plus has been recently been served with the Android 10 update.
If you are an interested developer, the Android 10 kernel source code for the Moto G7 Plus has been published on the official Github page.
Matter of fact, the kernel source code for the Android One powered Motorola One Hyper also went live recently. Motorola has already published the kernel code for Moto G7 Plus and interested devs can head here to get the package file.
